The accounting department is responsible for maintaining all financial activity of the Lincoln Parish Clerk of Court's office. That includes the daily cash receipts of the various departments within the office, the Registry of Court, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. 


Every time a document is recorded, a copy is made, a marriage license is issued, or a mortgage certificate is completed, an invoice is made showing the relevant information of the transaction. Invoices are made regardless of whether a person pays cash or the transaction is billed to an account.
